A Bachelor's Weblog to Urban Cooking - Comments

This article on Manifold Cooking from A Bachelor's Weblog to Urban Cooking reminds me of the time Mr. Gouldstone put pork pies in his engine on the way to Raglan castle. They were hot and tasty.

Dubai

I just heard from James that he's heading to Dubai for work. So I thought I'd look it up. It seems fascinating! I hope we get to visit him sometime in Dubai! Maybe he'll even be able to tell us what kind of local food is popular there! Good luck James!

reality on the wall

Nick saw it first...reality is advertising by Loctite. They glued a monitor to the wall and will note how long it can stay there. Go Super Bonder.

chilling in the UK

We got to London on last Wednesday, after my last day at Mot. Had a terrific time with Ian and hanging out near South Kensington. It was so nice meeting Ian's friends/roommates and soaking up the RCA 'end of year show' and various UK vibes. We must have walked 30+ miles around London, and the chance meeting with the Polish guy at the bus stop was cool. I will always remember fruit pastilles as the perfect walking accompaniment.

We took the train to Ledbury from Paddington on Monday, and it was nice to stay over with Jim's folks again. The wedding happens on Saturday, so we're all preparing for then. Looking forward to R&R. :) Can you manage...?
