Multi pressure strips from a capactive touchpad

I remember I ran into this young man with a terrific interface last time I was at CHI. I recently found him again at The Home Page of Gabor Blasko. This is quite innovative hardware design. This makes a lot of sense, given that the capacitive pad can be so flexible to different types of input.
